3) Connections

Connect the front wheel speed sensors to the traction control unit. Now connect

the remaining two wires from the traction control unit to the rear wheel speed

sensor wire.

Ensure you change the settings in the ‘Wheels’ tab to reflect the speed sensor

connections.

4) Programming The PPR

Loading the traction control software and selecting the ‘Wheels’ tab will display

the following information. See section 2.1 re software installation.

If the front and rear sensors are using a different number of reference points you

will need to adjust the ‘Pulses per revolution’ (as shown above) to compensate. If

it is not possible to count the pulses, adjust the values until the traction control is

recording the same speed for both reference and driven wheels when the car is

traveling in a straight line.

NOTE – When adjusting the PPR the

traction control will need to be powered

down for these changes to take place.
